All Star Cowhorse Training

If you need the services of a professional horse trainer, look no further. Tye MacDonald, resident trainer at All Star Cowhorses, does everything from halter breaking to finishing bridle horses.  He puts a solid and correct foundation on colts. The horses Tye trains are confident, calm and free-moving. Come by and see him work, or watch for him at the major NRCHA events.  

If you’d like your horse evaluated, we’d be happy to do this for you at no charge. Need a lesson? You bet. Would you like to see your horse in the show pen? Tye is still eligible to compete in Limited Open Classes, which greatly improves your chance of finishing “in the money”. Although Tye just began showing horses 4 years ago (after 15 years of colt starting), he’s had excellent success, and has the potential and the desire to become one of the elite trainers in the cow horse business. At the 2007 NRCHA Hackamore Classic, Tye won the Limited Open Bridle Class by 10 points, topping the scores of all riders in the Open division.

Tye holds a Master’s Degree in Animal Science from Montana State University, and is a quiet, thoughtful person, with a deep love of horses that really shows.
